Carnivale Popping Corn is a brand that I came up with for a student project. Package design for food and restaurants has always been intriguing to me. A lot of the popcorn products today are pretty simplistic with their package design, so I wanted to make something that was eye popping. At the time, I was inspired by the aesthetic of "American Horror Story: Freakshow". Since popcorn is a common snack at carnivals and circuses, I decided to go with the name “Carnivale”, a more elegant form of “carnival”. For the logo and design, I wanted to stay consistent to the carnival and circus theme, so I created a banner logo, tent details, a ferris wheel, and a ticket stub. The result was a sophisticated, yet fun package design for a snack that’s enjoyed by families and friends.
